Georgia Workshop in History of Agriculture and Environment

The Georgia Workshop in the History of Agriculture and Environment seeks to promote scholarship in the fields of agricultural and environmental history at the University of Georgia. With generous funding provided by the Willson Center for the Humanities and Arts, the Workshop invites leading scholars in these fields to present unpublished book chapters or articles to faculty and graduate students at the University of Georgia in an atmosphere of intellectual exchange. The Workshop also hosts regular meetings for graduate students in the Department of History at UGA, creating a socially and intellectually vibrant scholarly community among students and faculty members in these fields.
