Museum tour highlights permanent collection
The Georgia Museum of Art will have a tour of highlights from the permanent collection July 29 at 2 p.m. Docents will lead the tour.
Garden to have Full Moon Hike
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia will have a Full Moon Hike July 31 at 7 p.m. Participants should be prepared to hike up to 2 miles on wooded trails and in the garden. The cost is $5 or $15 per family.
Grassland String Band to perform at Garden
The Grassland String Band will bring its take on bluegrass/Americana music to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia July 28 at 7 p.m. as part of the Sunflower Concert Series. The performance will include a set with special guest Claire Campbell from the acclaimed band Hope for a Golden Summer. Admission is $15, or $5 for children 6-12. The show will take place on the flower garden lawn, but will move indoors in case of inclement weather.
