Walk Georgia to have night with the Hawks
UGA Extension’s Walk Georgia is partnering with the Atlanta Hawks for Walk Georgia Night March 15 at 5 p.m. in Philips Arena in Atlanta. Participants will get early entry, access to pre-game activities and a free T-shirt. They then can watch the Hawks take on the Denver Nuggets. Tickets are $15.
Baseball team to host Western Kentucky
The Diamond Dogs will play a two-game series against Western Kentucky University March 11-12. Both games start at 6 p.m. at Foley Field. Tickets are $5 to $8.
Students to get spring break
The last day of classes before spring break will be March 7. No classes will be held March 10-14. Residence halls, except for Reed, Payne and East Campus Village, will close March 8 at noon. Campus Transit will operate its intersession service March 10-14. Food Services, except for the Village Summit, will be closed during spring break. Classes resume March 17.
