David Johnson
(Curriculum Vitae) David R. Johnson is a doctoral candidate who studies work, occupations, and organizations, the sociology of science, and higher education. His dissertation examines the operation of a new reward system in academic science by studying the careers of scientists who commercialize their research. Johnson has a research affiliation with the Institute of Higher Education and teaches the sociology of occupations.
