Tiffani Everett
(Curriculum
Vitae) Tiffani Everett has been a graduate student
at the University of Georgia since 2005. She received
her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Akron
(Akron, OH) in 2005. Her area of specialization is
social psychology.
Tiffani's current research examines emotions and identities. For her thesis, she examines the role of emotion display in defining a situation. Specifically she looks at how emotions influence our efforts to restore meaning following a negative action. In collaboration with Dr. Rebecca J. Erickson from the University of Akron, Tiffani is also researching identity disconfirmation in nurses. This research examines the emotional outcomes of identity disconfirmation.
Tiffani is currently the lab manager for the Laboratory for the Study of Social Interaction (LaSSI).
