Now in its twelfth season, the UGA Performing Arts Center (UGA PAC) remains a place of entertainment, culture, and education. Much of its programming is made possible through the generous and deeply appreciated gifts of many donors. These include individuals, corporations, businesses, foundations, the University of Georgia, and other government agencies. With continuing fiscal challenges, these financial commitments are essential. There are various ways to donate to UGA Office of Performing Arts.

Underwriting Concerts and Projects
This season all concerts are underwritten by individuals or businesses. However, each year there is a need for additional concert underwriters. Underwriters enjoy numerous benefits, including:

  • Listing in annual subscription brochure
  • Program page recognition
  • Listing in selected printed materials
  • The opportunity to meet the performers
  • Contribution page listing
  • First choice attractions to underwrite for the next season
  • Recognition via signage in the lobby
  • Complimentary tickets to the underwritten event

In addition, individuals and businesses can underwrite such projects as concert tickets, ticket envelopes, and the annual wallet card, with their name or logo printed on the item.

The Annual Fund
Each year, beginning in February, hundreds of donors make tax-deductible contributions of all sizes to the Annual Fund. Gifts may be made "In Memory Of . . ." and "In Honor Of . . . ."

Donations with Subscriptions
Many donors take the opportunity to make their contribution while renewing their subscriptions.

Return of Concert Tickets
If you are unable to attend a concert for which you have tickets, you can call the box office and return these tickets for resale. You will receive a letter acknowledging the value of the tickets as a contribution which may be tax-deductible.

Planned Giving
Many of our patrons wish to make a lasting contribution to our programs, which can provide tax advantages and other benefits. Contributing to the UGA PAC endowment ensures the continuance and stability of our programs. Gifts to the Endowment Fund may name a concert or a variety of other commemorative opportunities and can be made over multiple years.
