E-mail Information

OSFA uses e-mail as the primary tool for communicating with students. Most notably, students are sent an e-mail notification when their Award is created or updated. To obtain your UGA e-mail address, you must create a UGA MyID.

Note:
Routinely review your UGAMail account for any message concerning your mail box reaching its maximum quota. If your mailbox fills up subsequent e-mails will not reach you.

Use the decision menu below to learn more about your e-mail account:

We will use your UGA e-mail address as our primary means of communication. If you are having difficulty with your UGA e-mail account, try the following:

- Be sure you have not reached the maximum disk space that is allotted to your e-mail account. To check your disk space, go to http://www.ugamail.uga.edu, log in using your MyID and password, then check your quota meter at the top of your screen (below is a sample quota meter).

- If you forwarded your UGA e-mail address to another e-mail account, check to determine the non-UGA account is functional. To change the address to which your UGA e-mail is being forwarded, go to http://www.ugamail.uga.edu, log in using your MyID and password, click on "Options", then click on "Forwarding".
