Welcome to Model UN at Georgia!

Welcome to the new home of the University of Georgia Model United Nations team. From this site, you will be able to access information regarding all of our team's activities for the upcoming year. Our team has a two-fold purpose: to encourage and develop interest in international affairs, and to help students cultivate professional skills in diplomacy, public speaking, research, and persuasion. To manifest these goals, each year we host the University of Georgia Model United Nations Conference (UGAMUNC) for high school students and prepare twenty-five outstanding University students to attend a collegiate conference.

UGAMUNC is the annual conference that we host for high school Model UN teams. If you are visiting this site to learn more about the conference or register your students, I'd like to first thank you for your interest. Our team is working hard to improve the entire conference experience from registration to closing ceremonies. The ultimate goal is to host not only the best conference in the Southeast, but one of the best in the nation.
