The University of Georgia's Math Club

A mathematician confided
That a Mobius band is one-sided!
And you'll get quite a laugh,
If you cut one in half,
For it stays in one piece when divided

About Us

The UGA Math Club functions as a vehicle for those interested in discussing topics in mathematics. Our meetings usually consist of lectures by UGA students and faculty on various mathematical topics. When possible, we invite guest lecturers or typical employers of mathematicians (such as the NSA). Although geared toward curious students involved in math, many of our lectures are designed to be accessible to anyone with a college preparatory math background.

  • To join the Math Club Listserv, send an email here.
  • For any other questions or suggestions, send an email here.
