Katherine and Darren Ash established the Ash Service Award to help cultivate and support a culture of community service within the UGA Honors Program. Awards go to students who have demonstrated a serious and sustained commitment to service, whether it be service to the campus community, the Athens community, or the national/international community.

The application deadline for third-year Honors students is May 1. Award recipients will be recognized and asked to serve as community service leaders throughout their senior year, beginning with the Honors Program Convocation in August and culminating with the Honors Program Banquet in April, when the awardees will be given a $1,000 stipend.
