New from UGA Press - Around the Arch
September 2012 Issue
This recently released book from UGA Press captures in words and photographs the rich diversity of the Altamaha River, which was formed by the confluence of the Ocmulgee and Oconee Rivers. The Altamaha is the largest free-flowing river on the East Coast and has been designated as one of the Nature Conservancy’s 75 “Last Great Places.” Co-author Dorinda Dallmeyer is director of UGA’s Environmental Ethics Certificate program.
