JUST THE FAC(T)S - Around the Arch June 2010 Issue A new freshman learning community focused on managing finances will open in fall 2010. Freshman FAC(T)S, sponsored by the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, will discuss the best places to buy textbooks, successful time management and why it is important to protect personal information from identity thieves. Students in the learning community will take some classes together and will attend financial and career planning seminars. Freshman FAC(T)S is UGA’s seventh learning community, which group 20 freshmen with similar academic interests in Creswell Hall.
