Car free day - Web exclusives June 2010 Issue The University of Georgia Odum School of Ecology, in collaboration with the Go Green Alliance and Students for Environmental Action sponsored a Car Free Day on Friday April 23 encouraging the campus community to use alternative transportation to work and school. Car Free Day was part of Earth Week at UGA and Athens GreenFest, a community-wide celebration of the environment during the month of April.
