Campus Pantry - Around the Arch December 2011 Issue A group of UGA organizations created a food pantry for students and employees who are feeling the pinch of the recession, increased tuition costs and lower HOPE allotments. The group, which includes members of 20 campus organizations, spent the past year hosting food drives and recruiting volunteers for the UGA Student Food Pantry, which opened in late September in Memorial Hall, room 208. Canned food, pasta, baked goods and snacks are among the items available. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
