UGA was one of four universities nationwide to receive the American Football Coaches Association’s 2013 Academic Achievement Award, given to NCAA football teams that have graduated 100 percent of their 2006 freshman class.

Other universities receiving the award were Rice, Stanford and Tulane. The award is presented by the Touchdown Club of Memphis.

Forty-six other institutions were recognized for graduating 75 percent or more of their football student-athletes.
