Local rockers The Modern Skirts provided the entertainment at Tate Plaza for UGA’s Sustainability Day on Oct. 26, which showcased sustainable initiatives on campus and throughout the community. An afternoon forum in the Chapel offered a keynote speech by conservationist and businessman Rutherford Seydel, followed by a panel discussion to address “Where do we go from here?” The panel included School of Ecology Dean John Gittleman, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Dean Scott Angle, College of Environment and Design Dean Daniel Nadenicek, Center for Integrative Conservation Research Director Peter Brosius and Terry College Center for Information Systems Leadership Director Rick Watson.
