Just because you’re retired doesn’t mean you have to stop learning. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UGA, a part of Learning in Retirement Inc., offers opportunities for seniors to continue learning on a non-credit basis with no exams, papers or grades. Participants attend structured courses taught by experts in their fields. Previous courses have included strength training, Italian/Mediterranean cooking, anthropology, 20th century theater and Windows XP. The institute also offers trips for seniors to places like the High Museum and Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Social activities include dinners and lunches at Athens restaurants and a holiday dinner at the Georgia Center. And there’s so much more.
