Enrollment reaches new heights

The UGA student body was the largest ever in fall 2008, with a combined 34,180 students on the Athens, Gwinnett, Tifton and Griffin campuses. The Graduate School also saw its largest class with 7,125 students. Enrollment of African American students in graduate programs increased by 5.6 percent over last year, and the number of Latino graduate students increased by 9.6 percent.
