Oct.1, UGA Alumni Association Faculty and Staff Authors Reception, 3:30–5:30 p.m., UGA Bookstore.
Oct. 10, UGA Alumni Association Member Appreciation Day, 5–7 p.m., UGA Bookstore, members receive an extra 10% off gifts and clothing at the UGA Bookstore in addition to the regular 10% member discount.
Oct. 13-17, Ring Week, students with at least 60 credit hours may order an official UGA Class Ring at the UGA Bookstore or the Student Learning Center.
Oct. 17, UGA Alumni Association “Sink the ’Dores” Homecoming BBQ, 6:30 p.m., Wray-Nicholson House, Athens.

Local Marines collect toys that are dropped off at the Wray-Nicholson House during the 2007 Holiday Open House and Toy & Food Drive.
