Taylor grew up in Atlanta, Ga and upon graduation from high school went west to attend the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  After earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, he took a job with Newell Rubbermaid as a Field Marketing Representative in Nashville, TN.  After Rubbermaid, Taylor took a job with Clear Channel radio and sold advertising for two local stations.  After a successful but short career with Clear Channel, he then took a position as Sales Director for a start up distributor of emergency heart defibrillators and CPR training. 

In 2006, Taylor returned to the academic world to pursue his MBA at the Terry College.  The MBA program has exceeded his expectations.  He feels that the people and close knit attitude define the great atmosphere in the program.  Taylor will spend the second year of his MBA focusing on Marketing and General Management.  He will also serve as the GBA Student Liaison to the Director, where he hopes only to improve upon what is an excellent MBA program.  The fact that the school is located in Athens is only a bonus as he loves the DAWGS and the great spirit that Athens provides.
