Nicole was
born and raised in New York City and
attended the University of Pennsylvania.
She graduated in 2003, with a degree in
Political Science and a concentration in
International Relations. That
summer, Nicole moved to Atlanta to
become a Teach for America corps member.
She taught second grade at L.O.
Kimberly in Southwest Atlanta. After her
Teach for America contract ended, Nicole
made the momentous decision (especially
for a New Yorker) to remain in the
South.
In 2004,
Nicole began work as a development
associate with real estate developer
Trammell Crow Residential. She
worked for Trammell Crow Residential for
two years, where she managed the first
two Atlanta condominiums in the
company’s history. She also worked
with the company’s mixed-income housing
team to create Learning Villages for
children, Neighborhood Computer Networks
and worked with the City of Atlanta and
the Atlanta Housing authority, to
implement Home Ownership programs for
former government- assisted residents.
Nicole is still extremely passionate
about sustainable and affordable real
estate development.
Nicole is
excited to be in Athens and attend a
school with a real football team. Go
Dawgs! She looks forward to getting to
know the Terry community and Athens as a
whole. Post Terry, Nicole would like to
find an opportunity that combines her
love of government relations and real
estate. For now, Nicole looks forward
to truly enjoying being a student and
learning to bleed red and black!
