Akhil is from
New Delhi, India. Before coming to the
University of Georgia to pursue an MBA, he
was working in KPMG India for four years.
He is an undergrad from SRCC, Delhi
University, which is considered to be best
commerce college in Asia. He is also a
Chartered Accountant but never enjoyed the
audit work he was doing, and hence he
decided to do MBA. He is currently
interning with a boutique investment bank
and a private equity fund in Atlanta.
Akhil wants to
enter into business consulting post MBA and
wants to start his own business venture
sometime later in life. Apart from serving
as vice president of the GBA, he is also the
co-president of the Terry Consulting Club.
Akhil is a
passionate and a fun loving guy who has had
a wonderful time living in Athens over the
last year. He enjoyed the football season
but still remains a hardcore cricket fan and
never misses a match. Akhil loves to travel
and has traveled through parts of Europe and
India and is waiting for the chance (and
enough money) to explore the US.
