Unless otherwise indicated, fees are based on a 6 hour event including the time required for set-up and clean-up (an additional 15 percent of the facility fee is accrued for each hour exceeding the 6 hour event contract).
Large events find a home in the museum's Reception Hall, which features rich wood paneling, large windows, a sweeping staircase, marble floors, and space for nearly one hundred guests for a seated dinner and up to two hundred guests for a cocktail reception.

Your organization can plan an informal luncheon or meeting in Figgie's Café, which accommodates as many as 40 people for seated events.

If you are hosting a performance or multimedia event, the M. Smith Griffith Auditorium is ideal for films, chorales, lectures, meetings, or small theatrical performances for as many as two hundred people. In addition to a stage, it contains audio and film equipment, infrared headsets for the hearing impaired, a backstage, and dressing rooms.

Groups can attend or conduct workshops or meetings in the spacious Ed and Phoebe Forio Studio Classroom. The classroom is equipped for slide or overhead projection presentations and can accommodate approximately fifty people in classroom or theatre-style seating.

The tent fee is a site fee, which pays for the preparation and approval of the desired tent locations by the museum special events office and the UGA grounds department.

A non-refundable deposit of one half of the facility rental fee must be paid to confirm the rental. The remaining half of the facility rental fee, as well as a damage deposit of $100 and necessary custodial fees will be due to the Georgia Museum of Art at least ten days prior to the rental date. Charges for damage, audio-visual technician, security, extraordinary clean-up, and overtime on duration of use will be applied to the $100 damage deposit. Any remaining charges will be billed to the rental client within five days of the event. All remaining charges are the responsibility of the rental client. Any remaining damage deposit will be returned to the rental client. All fees and conditions are subject to change.
