LACSI brings Latin American and Caribbean culture to the UGA campus by sponsoring educational activities, artistic performances, interdisciplinary research, teaching, and public service projects, in coordination with Latin Americanists from UGA, other Universities, the community at large, and abroad.

It will do so by creating a welcoming space that provides opportunities for the interaction of students from the USA and other nations.
