Dr. Hilda Mata

I am currently a Lecturer in Spanish at the University of Georgia , where I completed a Ph.D. in Linguistics (2002). I received an M.A. in Modern Languages with a concentration in Spanish Literature in 1988 from the University of Delaware.

I have been teaching college Spanish since 1987. I currently teach Span 3010H Conversation and Composition, Span 3011 Composition and Conversation for Heritage Speakers, Span 4010 Advanced Composition and Conversation, and Span 3050 Introduction to Spanish Linguistics.
