Stations of the Cross

Mounted along the walls of the Center Chapel are fourteen paintings depicting each Station of the Cross. (Those wonderful and haunting images follow.) A person making the Stations can go to each station, able to pray and reflect on that particular event which Jesus went through in His Passion and death.

First Station: Jesus is condemned to death by Pilate. Second Station: Jesus takes up His cross to carry it to Calvary. Third Station: Jesus falls the first time. Fourth Station: Jesus meets His Mother Mary..
Fifth Station: Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry His cross. Sixth Station: Veronica wipes the face of Jesus with her veil. Seventh Station: Jesus falls the second time. Eighth Station: The women of Jerusalem weep for Christ.
Ninth Station: Jesus falls the third time. Tenth Station: Jesus is stripped of His clothes. Eleventh Station: Jesus is nailed to the Cross. Twelfth Station: Jesus dies on the Cross.
Thirteenth Station: Jesus is taken down from the Cross. Fourteenth Station: Jesus is placed in the tomb.. Fifteenth Station: Jesus is risen from the dead.. These images are copyrighted
