Legion Pool:
Legion Pool is located on Lumpkin Street across from the Tate Student Center. It is operated as a service for UGA students, UGA employees, alumni association members, and their guests by the Department of Campus Life for the Division of Student Affairs.

Pass Information
All 25 visit passes are primarily intended to be used for adult admissions although they can be used for child admissions. Please note that the daily rate for a child admission is $2.50. In some cases, it may be cheaper to pay cash for each child when using a 25 visit pass.
All child season passes are intended to be sold along with an adult season pass. A child season pass can be sold along with a 25 visit pass if you have a UGACard for the child. |
Pool Rules:
- Obey lifeguards instructions.
- Clean and appropriate swimming attire is required.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- The following are prohibited: glass containers, chewing gum, tobacco products (smoking, etc), alcoholic beverages, pets, running, rough play and excessive noise, spitting or spouting of water, amplified sound.
- No diving is allowed - you must enter the water feet first.
- Plastic inflatable flotation devices (rafts, floats, water wings, rings, etc made from plastic) are not allowed. Life jackets, noodles, and other foam materials are safer alternatives.
- Children under the age of 16 should avoid entering the lap lane area unless they are swimming laps.
Parking
A parking permit is required to park by the Legion Pool facility. Display your valid parking permit (for any lot designation) to avoid being ticketed. The daily rate for parking is $2.00 per day. Those customers who purchase a Legion Pool pass to swim will be given the opportunity to purchase a season parking pass for $8.00.
Evening Pool Rentals
Registered student organizations, university departments, and individuals may reserve Legion Pool for evening events. Reservations can be made by calling the Department of Campus Life at (706) 542-7774 and asking for Greg Albanese. Reservations must be made at least 10 business days prior to the event date. Events begin at 7:30pm and must conclude by 10:30 pm.
Lifeguards are required for all Legion Pool events. Instructions from the lifeguards must be followed. The sponsor is responsible for the behavior of its guests. All Legion Pool rules remain in effect. No amplified sound will be permitted.
