Senior Ashley Lauren Foster has had many rewarding experiences during her time as a student at UGA. In 2007, she was crowned Miss University of Georgia, inducted into The Arch Society and completed her Honors thesis. Liza Pitts cares about people. Pitts, a fifth-year student in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, was crowned Miss University of Georgia 2008 at the annual scholarship pageant in January. The Elberton, Georgia student also received the “Best Interview” award for her discussion of cancer education and awareness, her platform. Andrea Sikora had three primary academic goals when she came to UGA: study abroad, attend the College of Pharmacy and graduate with the Honors Capstone and CURO Scholar Distinction. And the Ohio native who graduated from The Walker School in Marietta has successfully met her goals.
Michelle Borg, a doctoral student in the College of Pharmacy, has her sights set on fighting cancer, and she is taking that battle well beyond the classroom.
