Initiatives
AccessText Network
On November 19, 2008 the Board of Regents' AMAC project signed an agreement with the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and invested in a national initiative called the AccessText Network. The network will facilitate and support the national delivery of alternative electronic textbooks to higher education institutions for students with documented disabilities. The AAP award has not only placed AMAC members at the table with the leading post-secondary publishers, but has also elevated them to national status. To learn more, visit the AccessText Network.
