Campus street closing announced

In connection with a project to replace the steam and condensation system serving Baldwin Hall, the section of Jackson Street immediately in front of Baldwin Hall will be closed to all traffic May 14-June 1. The southbound lane will be reopened effective June 1, but the northbound lane will remain closed to traffic June 1-Aug 3. Motorists should seek an alternate route.

NCAA Tennis Tournament plays in Athens

Georgia has the fifth longest active streak of NCAA Tournament appearances at 25. The Bulldogs have served as an NCAA first/second round site 10 times. The 2012 NCAA Round of 16-finals will be at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Team finals will be held on May 18-22; individual (Singles/Doubles) finals will take place on May 23-28.

Skoonberg exhibit at Botanical Garden
Hannah Skoonberg, a 2009 UGA Fine Arts graduate in printmaking and a current M.F.A. student at the University of Tennessee, will exhibit her work May 13-June 17 at the State Botanical Garden. Her work is influenced by Chinese and Japanese landscape painters and printmakers and is inspired by nature, especially trees.
